Full interview with KUTV and Dr. Randy Hyde at the Wolferts' rally on January 9th, 2016. Click here to read Dr. Hyde's declaration made in June of 2014 during a visit with the girls the month before they ran.
On July 17, 2014, my sisters Sydney & Dani Wolferts ran away after we tried to take our dad to court for abuse. They were found on January 3, 2016. On March 17, 2016 the judge ordered for them to be sent back to Kansas. After our dad has refused and delayed many orders, we finally have trial set at the end of April 2018 to have the abuse petition heard.

Nothing less than court ordered government child abuse of these sisters. This case cannot pass the smell test.
ReplyDeleteServing time for fleeing abuse. Punish the victims. Shameful to hold them incommunicado. - Barrister Brad
Research shows that children do NOT run away because they're brats. Research shows that the majority of children who run away do so from an abusive environment. Running away from a parent is NEVER considered a good reflection of the parent. The National Runaway Safeline posts their data on runaways on their website. I truly believe these girls and that any professional doubts these girls is due to junk science, ignorance and inept professionals. Research goes on to say that once a child has run away, he she is at increased risk to do it again. Placing these girls with their father only cements harm to these girls in that aspect alone.
ReplyDeleteBless this psychologists heart who carries the best interest of the girls so dear to him that he broke down.
ReplyDeleteOne more well known fact about running away. Children do not run toward abuse! That these girls ran away and contacted their mother after, shows they trust their mom. They didn't contact or reach out to their father during all that time they could have.
